Parents’ Guide

Everything you need to know about getting started, safety, bookings, and payments.

Getting Started

  • Apply: Submit via our Apply page (parent/guardian only).
  • Review: We evaluate photos, age, and interests to recommend next steps.
  • Onboarding: We’ll suggest portfolio needs (headshot, waist-up, full-length) and basic coaching.

On-Set Etiquette & Safety

  • Parent/guardian must be present for minors at all times.
  • Age-appropriate wardrobe; written consent for any sensitive concepts.
  • Clear call sheets, vetted creatives, safe work hours by age.
  • Talent may refuse any direction that feels unsafe or uncomfortable.

Photos & Portfolio

Strong, clean images help casting see your child quickly:

  • Headshot: natural light, neutral background, no heavy retouch.
  • Waist-up: simple top, natural expression.
  • Full-length: fitted but age-appropriate outfit, neutral shoes.

We also offer in-house portfolio development (faster, budget-friendly, aligned with what agencies and casting actually want).

See examples on our FAQ page.

Casting, Holds & Bookings

  1. Submission: we pitch suitable projects to reputable clients/agents.
  2. Request: self-tape or go-see instructions are sent to parents.
  3. Hold: tentative date—keep talent available until released/confirmed.
  4. Booking: confirmed call time, location, wardrobe & usage terms.

We never guarantee jobs—final decisions are made by clients/casting.

Payments & Taxes

  • Typical payments arrive net 30–60 days from client unless stated otherwise.
  • We take the agreed management commission from the project fee.
  • Parents are responsible for tax reporting for minors; consult your tax professional.
